Boxing for Cancer Research UK
As part of our Corporate and Social Responsibility Strategy I have committed to completing at least two charity events per year. The first of these is a white collar boxing event on the 1st September 2018 in Nottingham in support of Cancer Research UK.
I decided to take part in this event for two reasons. Firstly, to support a cause that affects almost everyone, either directly or indirectly, at some point in their life. And secondly, to take part in a sport that has always held my intrigue for its unique fitness requirements and under appreciated technical prowess.
I have been in hard training over the past two months that has involved some seriously painful stamina training which has been fantastically supported by my local gym, FitnessSpace West Bridgford, and Gregor MacLean of Maclean Wellness - both of which I recommend highly.
Please feel free to support Cancer Research UK by donating via my Just Giving page by clicking here. Any donation will be much appreciated by myself and Cancer Research UK.
